PROJECT SPOTLIGHT
Commercial Steel Building - Iowa
A commercial steel building in Iowa experienced a significant water loss after fire suppression lines froze and burst, flooding the interior.
Emergency extraction and dry-out efforts were quickly completed, and PCCC was brought in to guide the insured through next steps while working closely with the carrier to define scope and establish a clear path forward.
What We Did
Conducted a thorough damage assessment following mitigation
Helped separate necessary repairs from unaffected areas
Developed an objective, defensible reconstruction estimate
Coordinated communication between insured and carrier
Result
By stepping in promptly, we helped prevent scope creep, reduce delays, and give all parties clarity on what needed to happen next.
